1:8. ದೇವರು ನಮಗೆ ಆ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿಯೂ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ತೋರಿದನು. ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ರಹಸ್ಯವಾದ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ನಮಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾದ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನೂ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

1:8. ಹೀಗೆ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಕೃಪಾತಿಶಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕಲ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನೂ ಬುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನೂ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
