1:12. ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವವರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೇ ಮೊದಲಿಗರು. ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು.

1:12. ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವಂತೆ ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಮೊದಲು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟೆವು.
