2:4. ಕಳ್ಳತನದಿಂದ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಸಹೋ ದರರು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದಾಸತ್ವದೊಳಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ದೊರಕಿರುವ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ವನ್ನು ಗೂಢವಾಗಿ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದವರು.

2:4. Now this matter arose because of the false brothers with false pretenses who slipped in unnoticed to spy on our freedom that we have in Christ Jesus, to make us slaves.

2:4. Even that question came up only because of some so-called Christians there-- false ones, really-- who were secretly brought in. They sneaked in to spy on us and take away the freedom we have in Christ Jesus. They wanted to enslave us and force us to follow their Jewish regulations.

2:4. and that because of the false brethren privily brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

2:4. Yet because of false brothers secretly brought in- who slipped in to spy out our freedom that we have in Christ Jesus, so that they might bring us into slavery-

2:4. We needed to talk about these problems, because some who pretended to be our brothers had come into our group secretly. They came in like spies to find out about the freedom we have in Christ Jesus. They wanted to make us slaves,

2:4. This was because of the false brothers secretly brought in, who stole in to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage;
