6:17. ಹಿಂದಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಗುಲಾಮರಾಗಿದ್ದಿರಿ. ಪಾಪವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಹಿಡಿತದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದ ವಿಷಯಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ವಿಧೇಯರಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವಾಗಲಿ.

6:17. ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಸ ರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಬೋಧನೆಗೆ ನೀವು ಹೃದಯಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಅಧೀನರಾದದರಿಂದ ದೇವ ರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವಾಗಲಿ.

6:17. But thanks be to God that though you were slaves to sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching you were entrusted to,

6:17. Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you.

6:17. But thanks be to God, that, whereas ye were servants of sin, ye became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching whereunto ye were delivered;

6:17. But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed,
