4:14. ದೇವರು ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಜನರು ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಲ್ಲವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ನಿಷ್ಪ್ರಯೋಜಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ವಾಗ್ದಾನವೂ ನಿಷ್ಪ್ರಯೋಜಕವಾಗಿದೆ.

4:14. ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನನುಸರಿಸುವವರು ಬಾಧ್ಯರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನಂಬಿ ಕೆಯು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಯಿತು, ವಾಗ್ದಾನವೂ ನಿರರ್ಥಕ ವಾಯಿತು.

4:14. For if they become heirs by the law, faith is empty and the promise is nullified.
