12:1. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಸಹೋದರ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರೇ, ದೇವರ ಮಹಾಕನಿಕರವನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಾದ, ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯಾದ ಸಜೀವ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿರಿ. ಇದೇ ನೀವು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ನಿಜವಾದ ಆರಾಧನೆ.

12:1. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಹಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವೂ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆಯೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಸಜೀವಯಜ್ಞವಾಗಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ದೇವರ ಕರುಣೆಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಇದೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ಸೇವೆ ಯಾಗಿದೆ.

12:1. Therefore I exhort you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a sacrifice— alive, holy, and pleasing to God— which is your reasonable service.

12:1. And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice-- the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.
