11:4. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಎಲೀಯನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಉತ್ತರವೇನು? ದೇವರು ಎಲೀಯನಿಗೆ, “ಇನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಏಳು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ನನಗಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಾಳನ ಪೂಜೆಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

11:4. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಉತ್ತರವೇನಂದರೆ--ಬಾಳನ ವಿಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊಣಕಾಲೂರದ ಏಳುಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ನಾನು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂಬದು.

11:4. But what was the divine response to him? "I have kept for myself seven thousand people who have not bent the knee to Baal."
