11:3. ಎಲೀಯನು, “ಪ್ರಭುವೇ, ಜನರು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು; ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದರು. ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನೊಬ್ಬನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇನ್ನೂ ಬದುಕಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಈಗ ಜನರು ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಕೊಲ್ಲಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದನು.
