1:5. ದೇವರು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲನೆಂಬ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಡುವಂತೆಯೂ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗುವಂತೆಯೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಜನರನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಈ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ನಾನು ಈ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಗಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.

1:5. ಆತನ ಹೆಸರಿಗಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳವರು ನಂಬಿಕೆಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗುವಂತೆ ಆತನಿಂದ ನಾವು ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲತನವನ್ನೂ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
