9:38. ಪೇತ್ರನು ಲುದ್ದದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆಂಬ ಸುದ್ದಿಯು ಜೊಪ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು. (ಲುದ್ದವು ಜೊಪ್ಪದ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.) ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಇಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಪೇತ್ರನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು, “ತ್ವರೆ ಮಾಡು, ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಬೇಗನೆ ಬಾ!” ಎಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.

9:38. ಯೊಪ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಲುದ್ದವು ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಕೇಳಿ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ತಡಮಾಡದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.

9:38. Because Lydda was near Joppa, when the disciples heard that Peter was there, they sent two men to him and urged him, "Come to us without delay."

9:38. But the believers had heard that Peter was nearby at Lydda, so they sent two men to beg him, "Please come as soon as possible!"

9:38. And as Lydda was nigh unto Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men unto him, entreating him, Delay not to come on unto us.

9:38. Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him, urging him, "Please come to us without delay."

9:38. And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring [him] that he would not delay to come to them.

9:38. Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him entreating him, "Please come to us without delay."

9:38. And as Lydda was nigh unto Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men unto him, entreating him, Delay not to come on unto us.

9:38. and Lydda being nigh to Joppa, the disciples having heard that Peter is in that [place], sent two men unto him, calling on him not to delay to come through unto them.

9:38. The followers in Joppa heard that Peter was in Lydda, which was not far away. So they sent two men, who begged him, "Hurry, please come quickly!"

9:38. As Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to them.

9:38.
