8:36. ಅವರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ನೀರಿದ್ದ ಒಂದು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯು, “ಇಗೋ! ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಿದೆ! ನಾನು ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಏನಾದರೂ ಅಡ್ಡಿಯಿದೆಯೇ?” ಎಂದು ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

8:36. ಅವರು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ನೀರಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಕಂಚುಕಿಯು--ಅಗೋ, ನೀರು; ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಿ ಏನು ಅಂದನು.

8:36. Now as they were going along the road, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, "Look, there is water! What is to stop me from being baptized?"

8:36. As they rode along, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, "Look! There's some water! Why can't I be baptized?"

8:36. And as they went on the way, they came unto a certain water; and the eunuch saith, Behold, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

8:36. And as they were going along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, "See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?"

8:36. And as they went on [their] way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, [here is] water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

8:36. While they were traveling down the road, they came to some water. The officer said, "Look, here is water! What is stopping me from being baptized?"

8:36. As they went on the way, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, "Behold, here is water. What is keeping me from being baptized?"
