8:18. ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರು ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟಾಗ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನು ದೊರೆತ್ತಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಸಿಮೋನನು ಕಂಡನು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸಿಮೋನನು ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರಿಗೆ ಹಣವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ,

8:18. ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರು ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಡುವದರ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ಕೊಡೋ ಣವಾಗುವದನ್ನು ಸೀಮೋನನು ನೋಡಿ ಹಣವನ್ನು ತಂದು--
