5:9. ಪೇತ್ರನು ಆಕೆಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಗಂಡನು ಪ್ರಭುವಿನ ಆತ್ಮನನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇಕೆ? ಅಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಗಂಡನನ್ನು ಹೂಳಿಟ್ಟ ಜನರು ಬಾಗಿಲ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ! ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಅದೇರೀತಿ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

5:9. ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನ ಆತ್ಮನನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನೀವು ಹೇಗೆ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಿ ದ್ದೀರಿ? ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಗಂಡನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟವರ ಪಾದಗಳು ಬಾಗಿಲಲ್ಲಿ ಇವೆ, ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಹೊತ್ತು ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು ಅಂದನು.

5:9. Peter then told her, "Why have you agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out!"

5:9. And Peter said, "How could the two of you even think of conspiring to test the Spirit of the Lord like this? The young men who buried your husband are just outside the door, and they will carry you out, too."

5:9. But Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to try the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them that have buried thy husband are at the door, and they shall carry thee out.

5:9. But Peter said to her, "How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out."

5:9. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband [are] at the door, and shall carry thee out.

5:9. But Peter said to her, "How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Hark, the feet of those that have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out."

5:9. But Peter {cf15i said} unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and they shall carry thee out.

5:9. And Peter said unto her, `How was it agreed by you, to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? lo, the feet of those who did bury thy husband [are] at the door, and they shall carry thee forth;`

5:9. Peter said to her, "Why did you and your husband agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Listen! Do you hear those footsteps? The men who buried your husband are at the door. They will carry you out in the same way."

5:9. But Peter asked her, "How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out."

5:9.
