4:36. ಆ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಸೇಫ ಎಂಬವನೂ ಇದ್ದನು. ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಾರ್ನಬ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. (ಬಾರ್ನಬ ಅಂದರೆ ؅ಧೈರ್ಯದಾಯಕ؆) ಸೈಪ್ರಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಇವನು ಲೇವಿಯನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

4:36. ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರಿಂದ ಬಾರ್ನಬನೆಂದು ಅಡ್ಡ ಹೆಸರು ಹೊಂದಿದ ಕುಪ್ರ ದೇಶದ ಲೇವಿಯನಾದ ಯೋಸೇಫನೆಂಬವನು (ಬಾರ್ನಬ ಅಂದರೆ ಆದರ ಣೆಯ ಮಗನು)

4:36. So Joseph, a Levite who was a native of Cyprus, called by the apostles Barnabas (which is translated "son of encouragement"),

4:36. For instance, there was Joseph, the one the apostles nicknamed Barnabas (which means "Son of Encouragement"). He was from the tribe of Levi and came from the island of Cyprus.

4:36. And Joseph, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas (which is, being interpreted, Son of exhortation), a Levite, a man of Cyprus by race,

4:36. Thus Joseph, who was also called by the apostles Barnabas (which means son of encouragement), a Levite, a native of Cyprus,

4:36. And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, [and] of the country of Cyprus,

4:36. Thus Joseph who was surnamed by the apostles Barnabas (which means, Son of encouragement), a Levite, a native of Cyprus,

4:36. One of the believers was named Joseph. The apostles called him Barnabas. (This name means "one who encourages others.") He was a Levite born in Cyprus.
