22:12. ”ದಮಸ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನನೀಯ ಎಂಬುವನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ಅನನೀಯನು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಧೇಯನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

22:12. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅನನೀಯ ಎಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಂದ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನೆಂದು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಪಡೆದು ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

22:12. A man named Ananias, a devout man according to the law, well spoken of by all the Jews who live there,
