17:30. ಹಿಂದಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈಗಲಾದರೋ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವವರು ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

17:30. ಈ ಅಜ್ಞಾನಕಾಲಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವರುಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಈಗಲಾದರೋ ಆತನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮನು ಷ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮಾನಸಾಂತರಪಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
