11:16. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಪ್ರಭುವಿನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನು. ؅ಯೋಹಾನನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು, ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಪಡೆಯುವಿರಿ!؆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಭುವು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು.

11:16. ಆಗ--ಯೋಹಾನನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ನೀರಿನ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು; ನೀವಾದರೋ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನಿಂದ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಹೊಂದುವಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತು ನನ್ನ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಬಂತು.
