10:7. ಕೊರ್ನೇಲಿಯನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡಿದ ದೇವದೂತನು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದನು. ಬಳಿಕ ಕೊರ್ನೇಲಿಯನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರನ್ನೂ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸೈನಿಕನನ್ನೂ ಕರೆದನು. ಈ ಸೈನಿಕನು ದೈವಭಕ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಕೊರ್ನೇಲಿಯನ ಆಪ್ತಸಹಾಯಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಇವನೂ ಒಬ್ಬನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

10:7. ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ದೂತನು ಹೊರಟುಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೊರ್ನೇಲ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ಪರಿಚಾರಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸೈನಿಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ದೇವಭಕ್ತ ನನ್ನೂ ಕರೆದು
