13:38. ಯೇಸು, “ನೀನು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಕೊಡುವಿಯಾ? ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನಾಳೆ ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಕೋಳಿ ಕೂಗುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಮೂರುಸಾರಿ ಹೇಳುವೆ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

13:38. ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವ ನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು ತ್ತೀಯೋ? ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ನಿಜನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವ ತನಕ ಹುಂಜವು ಕೂಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

13:38. Jesus answered, "Will you lay down your life for me? I tell you the solemn truth, the rooster will not crow until you have denied me three times!
