12:24. ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಗೋಧಿಯ ಕಾಳು ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಸಾಯಲೇಬೇಕು. ಬಳಿಕ ಅದು ಬೆಳೆದು ಅನೇಕ ಕಾಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಫಲಿಸುವುದು. ಸಾಯದಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅದು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದೇ ಕಾಳಾಗಿರುವುದು.

12:24. ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತೇನೆ--ಗೋದಿಯ ಕಾಳು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಸಾಯ ದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಒಂದೇ ಆಗಿ ಉಳಿಯುವದು; ಅದು ಸತ್ತಮೇಲೆ ಬಹಳ ಫಲಕೊಡುವದು.
