10:33. ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು, “ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನೀನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತದಿಂದಲ್ಲ. ನೀನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ದೇವದೂಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ. ನೀನು ಕೇವಲ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯ. ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೇ ದೇವರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವೆ! ಆದಕಾರಣ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ!” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

10:33. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವಲ್ಲ, ದೇವದೂಷಣೆಗೋಸ್ಕ ರವೂ ನೀನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀನೇ ದೇವರಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೊಸ್ಕರವೂ ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂದರು.
