8:27. ಯೇಸು ದೋಣಿಯಿಂದ ಇಳಿದಾಗ, ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೊಬ್ಬನು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ದೆವ್ವ ಹಿಡಿದಿತ್ತು. ಬಹಳ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಅವನು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನೇ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವನು ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ಗವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

8:27. ಆತನು ದಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದಾಗ ಬಹು ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ದೆವ್ವಗಳು ಹಿಡಿದು ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆಯೂ ಯಾವ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿ ಸದೆಯೂ ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಿದನು.

8:27. As Jesus stepped ashore, a certain man from the town met him who was possessed by demons. For a long time this man had worn no clothes and had not lived in a house, but among the tombs.

8:27. As Jesus was climbing out of the boat, a man who was possessed by demons came out to meet him. For a long time he had been homeless and naked, living in a cemetery outside the town.
