18:2. ”ಒಂದು ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಶನಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಜನರು ತನ್ನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಏನು ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವನು ಗಮನ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
