17:9. ಆ ಸೇವಕನು ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನೀನೇನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಸೇವಕನಿರುವುದು ಯಜಮಾನನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯಷ್ಟೇ.

17:9. ತನಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆ ಆಳು ಮಾಡಿದರೆ (ಯಜಮಾ ನನು) ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿರುವನೋ? ನಾನು ನೆನಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

17:9. He won't thank the slave because he did what he was told, will he?
