16:2. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಆ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು, ؅ನಿನ್ನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನನಗೆ ದೂರುಗಳು ಬಂದಿವೆ. ನನ್ನ ಹಣವನ್ನು ನೀನು ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡಿರುವೆ? ನನಗೆ ವರದಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸು. ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಕ್ಕೆ ನೀನು ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕನಾಗಿರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

16:2. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಆ ಮನೆವಾರ್ತೆ ಯವನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇದೇನು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳುವದು? ಮನೆವಾರ್ತೆಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಲೆಕ್ಕವನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀನು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಮನೆವಾರ್ತೆಯವನಾಗಿರುವದಕ್ಕಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

16:2. So he called the manager in and said to him, 'What is this I hear about you? Turn in the account of your administration, because you can no longer be my manager.'
