14:5. ಯೇಸು ಫರಿಸಾಯರಿಗೂ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕರಿಗೂ, “ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಗನಾಗಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದುಡಿಯುವ ಪಶುವಾಗಿಲಿ ಬಾವಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದರೆ, ಆ ಕೂಡಲೇ ನೀವು ಬಾವಿಯಿಂದ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಿ ಬದುಕಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ ಎಂಬುದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತೇ ಇದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

14:5. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು-- ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನ ಕತ್ತೆಯಾಗಲೀ ಎತ್ತಾಗಲೀ ಒಂದು ಕುಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಎಳೆಯುವದಿಲ್ಲವೇ ಅಂದನು.

14:5. Then he said to them, "Which of you, if you have a son or an ox that has fallen into a well on a Sabbath day, will not immediately pull him out?"

14:5. Then he turned to them and said, "Which of you doesn't work on the Sabbath? If your son or your cow falls into a pit, don't you rush to get him out?"

14:5. And he said unto them, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a well, and will not straightway draw him up on a sabbath day?

14:5. And he said to them, "Which of you, having a son or an ox that has fallen into a well on a Sabbath day, will not immediately pull him out?"
