12:15. ಬಳಿಕ ಯೇಸು ನೆರೆದಿದ್ದ ಜನರಿಗೆ, “ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ, ಯಾವ ವಿಧವಾದ ಸ್ವಾರ್ಥಕ್ಕೂ ಒಳಗಾಗದಂತೆ ಜಾಗರೂಕರಾಗಿರಿ. ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಆಸ್ತಿಯಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರನು” ಎಂದನು.

12:15. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಜಾಗ್ರತೆ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಲೋಭಕ್ಕೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರ್ರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದ ಆಸ್ತಿಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಜೀವಾಧಾರವಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

12:15. Then he said to them, "Watch out and guard yourself from all types of greed, because one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."

12:15. Then he said, "Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own."

12:15. And he said unto them, Take heed, and keep yourselves from all covetousness: for a mans life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
