8:12. ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರುಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಬಯಸುವುದೇಕೆ? ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಿಮಗೆ ಯಾವ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ತೋರಿಸಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

8:12. ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ದೀರ್ಘವಾಗಿ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರುಬಿಟ್ಟು--ಈ ಸಂತ ತಿಯು ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವದು ಯಾಕೆ? ಈ ಸಂತತಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯವೂ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡು ವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

8:12. Sighing deeply in his spirit he said, "Why does this generation look for a sign? I tell you the truth, no sign will be given to this generation."

8:12. When he heard this, he sighed deeply in his spirit and said, "Why do these people keep demanding a miraculous sign? I tell you the truth, I will not give this generation any such sign."

8:12. And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

8:12. And he sighed deeply in his spirit and said, "Why does this generation seek a sign? Truly, I say to you, no sign will be given to this generation."

8:12. Jesus sighed deeply and said, "Why do you people ask to see a miracle as a sign? I want you to know that no miracle will be done to prove anything to you."

8:12. He sighed deeply in his spirit, and said, "Why does this generation seek a sign? Most assuredly I tell you, no sign will be given to this generation."
