20:22. ಯೇಸು ಅವಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಏನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರೆಂಬುದೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ.್ಲ ನಾನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವ ಸಂಕಟವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಲು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವೋ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು, “ಹೌದು, ನಮಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

20:22. ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ -- ನೀವು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದೇನೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದು. ನಾನು ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡಿಯಲು ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದಾದೀತೇ? ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ಹೊಂದುವ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಹೊಂದು ವಿರೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಆಗುವದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ

20:22. Jesus answered, "You don't know what you are asking! Are you able to drink the cup I am about to drink?" They said to him, "We are able."

20:22. But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup that I am about to drink? They say unto him, We are able.

20:22. Jesus answered, "You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am to drink?" They said to him, "We are able."

20:22. But Jesus answered and said, {SCJ}Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?{SCJ.} They say unto him, We are able.

20:22. And Jesus answering said, `Ye have not known what ye ask for yourselves; are ye able to drink of the cup that I am about to drink? and with the baptism that I am baptized with, to be baptized?` They say to him, `We are able.`

20:22. So Jesus said to the sons, "You don't understand what you are asking. Can you drink from the cup that I must drink from?" The sons answered, "Yes, we can!"

20:22. But Jesus answered, "You don\'t know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?" They said to him, "We are able."
