16:17. ಯೇಸು, “ಯೋನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೀಮೋನನೇ ನೀನು ಧನ್ಯನು. ಅದನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟವನು ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೂ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೇ ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

16:17. ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಯೋನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೀಮೋನನೇ, ನೀನು ಧನ್ಯನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ರಕ್ತಮಾಂಸವಲ್ಲ (ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲ), ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೇ ಅದನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

16:17. And Jesus answered him, "You are blessed, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven!

16:17. Jesus replied, "You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being.

16:17. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father who is in heaven.

16:17. And Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

16:17. And Jesus answered and said unto him, {SCJ}Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. {SCJ.}

16:17. And Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

16:17. And Jesus answering said to him, `Happy art thou, Simon Bar-Jona, because flesh and blood did not reveal [it] to thee, but my Father who is in the heavens.

16:17. Jesus answered, "You are blessed, Simon son of Jonah. No one taught you that. My Father in heaven showed you who I am.

16:17. Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
