10:39. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ನನಗಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.

10:39. ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಳಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಳಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
