21:2. ಇಸ್ರೇಲರು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಹರಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, “ನಾವು ಈ ಜನರನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸುವಂತೆ ನೀನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರೆ ನಾವು ಅವರ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುತ್ತೇವೆ” ಅಂದರು.

21:2. ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನೀನು ಈ ಜನರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನು.

21:2. So Israel made a vow to the LORD and said, "If you will indeed deliver this people into our hand, then we will utterly destroy their cities."
