20:18. ಆದರೆ ಎದೋಮಿನ ಅರಸನು, “ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀವು ದಾಟಿಹೋಗಕೂಡದು. ದಾಟುವುದಾದರೆ, ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತೇವೆ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

20:18. ಎದೋಮ್ಯನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಬೇಡ; ಹೋದರೆ ನಾನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆದುರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡುವೆನು.

20:18. But Edom said to him, "You will not pass through me, or I will come out against you with the sword."

20:18. But the king of Edom said, "Stay out of my land, or I will meet you with an army!"

20:18. And Edom said unto him, Thou shalt not pass through me, lest I come out with the sword against thee.

20:18. But the king of Edom answered, "You may not travel through our land. If you try to travel through our land, we will come and fight you with swords."
