8:17. ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ಹಾನಿ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ಗುಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಆಲೋಚಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಸುಳ್ಳು ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಅವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡುವದರಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.” ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.

8:17. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರ ಮೇಲೊ ಬ್ಬರು ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸದಿರ್ರಿ; ಸುಳ್ಳು ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಿದಿರಿ; ಇವುಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ನಾನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುವಂಥವುಗಳೇ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
