1:2. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಮೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗ ಕೇಳುವಿ? ನಾನು ಹಿಂಸೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿದರೂ ನೀನು ಏನೂ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

1:2. ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟರೂ ಎಷ್ಟರ ವರೆಗೆ ನೀನು ಕೇಳದೇ ಇರುವಿ? ಹಿಂಸೆ ಹಿಂಸೆ ಎಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೂಗುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

1:2. How long, LORD, must I cry for help? But you do not listen! I call out to you, "Violence!" But you do not intervene!
