7:14. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಮೋಸನು ಅಮಚ್ಯನಿಗೆ, “ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸುವದು ನನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸವಲ್ಲ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೂ ಸೇರಿದವನಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ದನ ಮೇಯಿಸುವವನೂ, ಅತ್ತಿ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಹಣ್ಣು ಕೀಳುವವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

7:14. ಆಗ ಆಮೋಸನು ಅಮಚ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಲ್ಲ, ಪ್ರವಾ ದಿಯ ಮಗನೂ ಅಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಕುರುಬನೂ ಹತ್ತಿ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

7:14. Amos replied to Amaziah, "I was not a prophet by profession. No, I was a herdsman who also took care of sycamore fig trees.

7:14. But Amos replied, "I'm not a professional prophet, and I was never trained to be one. I'm just a shepherd, and I take care of sycamore-fig trees.

7:14. Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophets son; but I was a herdsman, and a dresser of sycomore-trees:

7:14. Then Amos answered and said to Amaziah, "I was no prophet, nor a prophet's son, but I was a herdsman and a dresser of sycamore figs.

7:14. Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I [was] no prophet, neither [was] I a prophet’s son; but I [was] an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:

7:14. Then Amos answered Amaziah, "I am no prophet, nor a prophet's son; but I am a herdsman, and a dresser of sycamore trees,

7:14. Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet-s son; but I was an herdman, and a dresser of sycomore trees:

7:14. And Amos answereth and saith unto Amaziah, `I [am] no prophet, nor a prophet`s son [am] I, but a herdsman I [am], and a cultivator of sycamores,

7:14. Then Amos answered Amaziah, "I am not a professional prophet, and I am not from a prophet's family. I keep cattle and take care of sycamore trees.

7:14. Then Amos answered Amaziah, "I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet\'s son; but I was a herdsman, and a farmer of sycamore trees;

7:14. Then answered H6030 Amos, H5986 and said H559 to H413 Amaziah, H558 I H595 [was] no H3808 prophet, H5030 neither H3808 [was] I H595 a prophet's H5030 son; H1121 but H3588 I H595 [was] a herdsman, H951 and a gatherer H1103 of sycamore fruit: H8256
