17:7. ಅವರು ‘ಅಜದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೆ’ ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಬಲಿಕೊಡಬಾರದು. ಅವರು ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಸೂಳೆಯರ ಹಾಗೆ ವರ್ತಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿವೆ.

17:7. ಅವರು ಜಾರತ್ವ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಯಾರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋದರೋ ಆ ದೆವ್ವ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೆಂದಿಗೂ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬಾರದು. ಇದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ತಲ ತಲಾಂತರಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ನಿಯಮವಾಗಿ ರುವದು.

17:7. So they must no longer offer their sacrifices to the goat demons, acting like prostitutes by going after them. This is to be a perpetual statute for them throughout their generations.
