12:14. ಆದರೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮನು ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಅತಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೋಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮನು ಅನೇಕ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವನು. ಅವನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಪರಾಧಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಿ ಅವಮಾನ ಹೊರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವನು.”

12:14. ಆದ ರೂ ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮು ಬಹು ಕಠೋರವಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ರೇಗಿಸಿತು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅದರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವನು; ಅವನ ನಿಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಅವನ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವನು.

12:14. But Ephraim bitterly provoked him to anger; so he will hold him accountable for the blood he has shed, his Lord will repay him for the contempt he has shown.

12:14. But the people of Israel have bitterly provoked the LORD, so their Lord will now sentence them to death in payment for their sins.

12:14. But Ephraim made the Lord very angry. Ephraim killed many people, so he will be punished for his crimes. His Lord will make him bear his shame."
