7:26. ಒಂದರ ಮೇಲೊಂದು ಆಪತ್ತು ಸಂಭವಿಸುವುದು. ಸುಳ್ಳುಸುದ್ದಿಗೊಂದು ಸುಳ್ಳುಸುದ್ದಿ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು. ಅವರು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಿಂದ ದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುವರು. ಆದರೆ ಯಾವ ದರ್ಶನಗಳೂ ಆಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉಪದೇಶಿಸಲು ಯಾಜಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲು ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಘುದ್ಧಿವಾದವೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

7:26. ಕೇಡಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಡು ಬರು ವದು; ಸುದ್ದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಬರುವದು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವರು. ಆದರೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವು ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ ಆಲೋ ಚನೆಯು ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಾಶವಾಗುವದು.

7:26. Disaster after disaster will come, and one rumor after another. They will seek a vision from a prophet; priestly instruction will disappear, along with counsel from the elders.
