28:17. ನಿನಐ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಏರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿತು. ನಿನಐ ಘನತೆಯು ನಿನಐ ಜ್ಞಾನವನುಐ ಕೆಡಿಸಿತು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನಿನಐನುಐ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ದಬ್ಬಿದೆ. ಈಗ ಙೇರೆ ರಾಜರುಗಳು ನಿನಐನೆಐ ಎವೆಯಿಕ್ಕದೆ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

28:17. ನಿನ್ನ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಉಬ್ಬಿ ಕೊಂಡಿತು; ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಕಾಶದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿನ್ನ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿ; ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕುವೆನು. ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರು ನೋಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ;

28:17. Your heart was proud because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom on account of your splendor. I threw you down to the ground; I placed you before kings, that they might see you.

28:17. Your heart was filled with pride because of all your beauty. Your wisdom was corrupted by your love of splendor. So I threw you to the ground and exposed you to the curious gaze of kings.

28:17. Thy heart was lifted up because of thy beauty; thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I have cast thee to the ground; I have laid thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

28:17. Your heart was proud because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I exposed you before kings, to feast their eyes on you.

28:17. Your beauty made you proud. Your glory ruined your wisdom. So I threw you down to the ground, and now other kings stare at you.
