1:22. “ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಎಷ್ಟು ದುಷ್ಟರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ನೋಡು. ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪಾಪಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಮಾಡಲು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವುದು. ನಾನು ಪದೇಪದೇ ನರಳಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥಗೊಂಡಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.”

1:22. ಅವರ ಕೆಡುಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬರಲಿ; ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದ್ರೋಹಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡು; ನನ್ನ ನಿಟ್ಟು ಸಿರುಗಳು ಅನೇಕವಾಗಿವೆ; ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಕುಂದಿದೆ.

1:22. Let all their wickedness come before you; afflict them just as you have afflicted me because of all my acts of rebellion. For my groans are many, and my heart is sick with sorrow.&u05D0; (Alef)
