48:39. “ಮೋವಾಙ್ ನುಚ್ಚುನೂರಾಯಿತು. ಜನರು ಕಿರುಚುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೋವಾಙ್ ಶರಣಾಗತವಾಯಿತು. ಮೋವಾಙ್ ಈಗ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಜನರು ಮೋವಾಘನುಐ ತಮಾಷೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ಅವರನುಐ ಭೀತರನಾಐಗಿ ಮಾಡಿವೆ.”

48:39. ಅದು ಹೇಗೆ ಮುರಿದು ಹೋಯಿತು! ಮೋವಾಬು ಹೇಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಟ್ಟು ಬೆನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿತು ಎಂದು ಗೋಳಿಡುವರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಮೋವಾಬು ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರು ವವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆದರಿಕೆಗೂ ಆಗುವದು.

48:39. Oh, how shattered Moab will be! Oh, how her people will wail! Oh, how she will turn away in shame! Moab will become an object of ridicule, a terrifying sight to all the nations that surround her."

48:39. How it is shattered! Hear the wailing! See the shame of Moab! It has become an object of ridicule, an example of ruin to all its neighbors."

48:39. How is it broken down! how do they wail! how hath Moab turned the back with shame! so shall Moab become a derision and a terror to all that are round about him.

48:39. How it is broken! How they wail! How Moab has turned his back in shame! So Moab has become a derision and a horror to all that are around him."

48:39. They shall howl, [saying,] How is it broken down! how hath Moab turned the back with shame! so shall Moab be a derision and a dismaying to all them about him.

48:39. "Moab is shattered. The people are crying. Moab surrendered. Now Moab is ashamed. People make fun of Moab, but what happened fills them with fear."
