37:15. ಆ ಅಊಕಾರಿಗಳು ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನ ಮೇಲೆ ತುಂಙಾ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡರು. ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನನುಐ ಹೊಡೆಯಙೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರು ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಿತ್ತರು. ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನನುಐ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟರು. ಆ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯು ಯೆಹೋನಾಥಾನನೆಂಘುವನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು. ಯೆಹೋನಾಥಾನನುಐ ಯೆಹೂದದ ರಾಜನ ಲಿಫಿಕಾರನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಯೆಹೋನಾಥಾನನ ಮನೆಯನುಐ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯನಾಐಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

37:15. ಆಗ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಲೇಖಕನಾದ ಯೋನಾತಾನನ ಮನೆಯ ಬಂಧನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು.

37:15. The officials were very angry at Jeremiah. They had him flogged and put in prison in the house of Jonathan, the royal secretary, which they had converted into a place for confining prisoners.
