17:1. “ಯೆಹೂದದ ಜನರ ಅಪರಾಧ ಅಳಿಸಲಾಗದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಘರೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಲೇಖನಿಯಿಂದ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆತ್ತಲಾಗಿವೆ. ಅವರ ಪಾಪಗಳು ವಜ್ರದ ಮೊನೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಲೇಖನಿಯಿಂದ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆತ್ತಲಾಗಿವೆ. ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವೇ ಆ ಕಲ್ಲು, ಆ ಪಾಪಗಳು ಅವರ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಗಳ ಕೊಂಘುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆತ್ತಿವೆ.
