8:3. ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರವಾದಿನಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದೆನು. ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲು, ಆಕೆ ಗರ್ಭವತಿಯಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹಡೆದಳು. ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ, “ಆ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ‘ಮಹೇರ್ ಶಾಲಾಲ್ ಹಾಷ್ ಬಜ್‌’ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರನ್ನಿಡು.

8:3. ಅನಂತರ ನಾನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿನಿ ಯನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲು ಆಕೆಯು ಬಸುರಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು. ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ--ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಹೇರ್‌ ಶಾಲಾಲ್‌ ಹಾಷ್‌ ಬಜ್‌ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

8:3. I then had sexual relations with the prophetess; she conceived and gave birth to a son. The LORD told me, "Name him Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz,

8:3. Then I slept with my wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. And the LORD said, "Call him Maher-shalal-hash-baz.

8:3. And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said Jehovah unto me, Call his name Maher-shalal-hash-baz.

8:3. Then I went to the woman prophet. She became pregnant and had a son. The Lord told me, "Name the boy Maher Shalal Hash Baz."
