53:2. ಒಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ಸಸಿಯು ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಆತನು ಬೆಳೆದನು. ಆತನು ಒಣ ನೆಲದಿಂದ ಚಿಗುರುವ ಬೇರಿನಂತಿದ್ದನು. ಆತನು ಒಬ್ಬ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪುರುಷನಂತೆ ತೋರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಂಥ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳೇನೂ ಆತನಲ್ಲಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡತಕ್ಕ ಯಾವ ಲಕ್ಷಣವೂ ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ.

53:2. ಆತನು ಚಿಗುರಿನಂತೆಯೂ ಒಣನೆಲದಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಬರುವ ಬೇರಿನಂತೆಯೂ ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬೆಳೆ ಯುವನು. ಆತನಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ರೂಪವಾಗಲಿ ಅಂದವಾ ಗಲಿ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾವು ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವಂಥ ಯಾವ ಚಂದವೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

53:2. He sprouted up like a twig before God, like a root out of parched soil; he had no stately form or majesty that might catch our attention, no special appearance that we should want to follow him.

53:2. My servant grew up in the LORD's presence like a tender green shoot, like a root in dry ground. There was nothing beautiful or majestic about his appearance, nothing to attract us to him.

53:2. For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

53:2. For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him.

53:2. For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, [there is] no beauty that we should desire him.

53:2. Yea, he cometh up as a tender plant before Him, And as a root out of a dry land, He hath no form, nor honour, when we observe him, Nor appearance, when we desire him.

53:2. He was always close to the Lord. He grew up like a young plant, like a root growing in dry ground. There was nothing special or impressive about the way he looked, nothing we could see that would cause us to like him.

53:2. For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he has no form nor comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
