5:13. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ: “ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಒಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಡುವರು. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅರಿತಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಸ್ರೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಕೆಲವು ಜನರು ಈಗ ಪ್ರಮುಖರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಅನಾಯಾಸದ ಜೀವಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಗಣ್ಯವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಾಯಾರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಹಸಿವೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ನರಳುವರು.

5:13. ಆದಕಾರಣ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯು ಜ್ಞಾನಹೀನರಾದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಹೋದರು; ಅವರ ಘನವಂತರು ಹಸಿಯು ವರು, ಹಾಗೆ ಜನಸಮೂಹವು ಬಾಯಾರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಒಣಗುವದು.

5:13. Therefore my people will be deported because of their lack of understanding. Their leaders will have nothing to eat, their masses will have nothing to drink.

5:13. So my people will go into exile far away because they do not know me. Those who are great and honored will starve, and the common people will die of thirst.
