49:1. ದೂರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜನರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ; ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಜನರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ನಾನು ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ಮೊದಲೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಕರೆದನು. ನಾನು ತಾಯಿಯ ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರೆತ್ತಿ ಕರೆದನು.

49:1. ಓ ದ್ವೀಪ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ದೂರದ ಜನಗಳೇ, ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ! ನಾನು ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗಲೇ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆ ದನು. ತಾಯಿಯ ಉದರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಂದಿನಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

49:1. Listen to me, you coastlands! Pay attention, you people who live far away! The LORD summoned me from birth; he commissioned me when my mother brought me into the world.
