47:6. ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಸಿಟ್ಟಿಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದೆನು. ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟಾದೆನು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟೆನು. ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು. ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿದೆ; ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರುಣೆ ತೋರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ವೃದ್ಧರೂ ಕಷ್ಟದ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.

47:6. ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ರೋಷಗೊಂಡು, ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟೆನು; ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸದೆ ಮುದುಕರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಬಹು ಭಾರವಾದ ನೊಗವನ್ನು ಹೊರಿ ಸಿದಿ.

47:6. I was angry at my people; I defiled my special possession and handed them over to you. You showed them no mercy; you even placed a very heavy burden on old people.

47:6. For I was angry with my chosen people and punished them by letting them fall into your hands. But you, Babylon, showed them no mercy. You oppressed even the elderly.
