42:1. “ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿರಿ! ನಾನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಆತನನ್ನೇ. ನಾನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿರಿಸುವೆನು. ಆತನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿ ತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡುವನು.

42:1. ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು; ನಾನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡವನಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮ ಆನಂದಿಸುವದು. ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಅವನು ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ತರುವನು.
